The National Beard and Mustache Championships is an event held annually by Beard Team USA where beardsmen from all over the world showcase their most impressive beards and mustaches. They compete in 47 different categories ranging from the Dali mustache to the crazy Full Beard Freestyle where they are judged by a panel of distinguished judges. The event was on hiatus for the past two years but now it’s back on again with a slew of impressive entrants that would give Ron Swanson a run for his money.
This year’s competition supports three charities: Oscar Mike, a foundation that supports injured veterans, P.A.W.S of Tinley Park, an animal shelter based in Tinley Park, Illinois, and Together We Cope, a homelessness prevention agency. And just like all the years before, the entrants of this year’s competition boast some epic facial hair – check them out in the gallery below!
